In order to properly market your product, you need to know the keywords that relate to your niche and what keywords people are using when they are searching for your product and service. This is really not difficult or expensive to find out; however it will make a huge difference in how you market and who you reach. First, brainstorm all the possible keywords and combinations of keywords that pertain to your niche while using a thesaurus. If you have the finances, use a software program that will generate the keywords for you as well as search for what keywords and keyword phrases are most popular an have been most recently searched for regarding your niche. This information is like gold when you are trying to market and the software program certainly takes the majority of effort out of your hands. Now that you know what people are searching for, you know what you should include on your page to get your page returned as a high result by the search engines. Also, search the keywords yourself in a variety of search engines and see where your page is ranked as well as what the pages ranked above you are doing that you are not.
