Lighting is such a critical part of any home improvement project. Whether it's a kitchen remodel or a brand new home, the lighting plan should be well thought out. Also keeping the lights on each side of the bed separate allows independent use. This same kind of planning should go into every room of the house. Control is what makes the plan all come together. Be sure that if a room has more than one point of entry and exit, a light can be turned on and off from each location. It can be quit a nuisance to have to back track in a room to turn some lights off.
